Two weeks after Vikings running back Alexander Mattison revealed racist messages he was receiving on Instagram, right guard Ed Ingram exposed the abuse he's also received on the platform.

"Hate me or like me you can't do what I do," Ingram wrote in a post that showed his latest notifications, all of which were mean-spirited based on his play.

By the numbers, Ingram has not been very good as the Vikings' starting right guard. But the 24-year-old has started every game for the since the Vikings drafted him in the second round in 2022.

"You are so bad at football it's actually insane that you are employed," one person wrote in response to Ingram's post that linked to t-shirt sales. Another user called him a "terroist" (as is common with online bullies, the attacker couldn't spell).

Another armchair general manager wrote: "I gave you more than enough chances. You laughed about it. Practice squad or XFL for you my guy."

Ingram's role with the Vikings going forward could be as a backup if Dalton Risner, whom the Vikings signed two weeks ago, is given an opportunity to start at guard. Risner was active for Sunday's game in Carolina but he did not play.
