The Denver Nuggets drilled a jumper with less than a second remaining in the first quarter to hand us a brutal loss on our Monday Look of the Day. All we can do is pick ourselves off the mat and go back for more, and we'll do just that with our favorite bet for Tuesday's NBA playoff slate.
The Magic rebounded from an 0-2 deficit in their first-round series against the Cleveland Cavaliers to win Game 3 and Game 4 while scoring 121 and 112 points, respectively. Those performances have hiked up Orlando's team total for Game 5, and we're willing to play against that move.
In the first two games of the series, Cleveland held Orlando to 84.5 points per game on 57-166 shooting (34.3 percent) and 17-72 (23.6 percent) from three. Everyone not named Paolo Banchero struggled to shoot the ball in the first two games, which is understandable for a young team playing on the road in the playoffs.
Those role players performed much better at home with the fans on their side, but we're expecting some regression back to the mean as the series shifts back to Cleveland for Game 5. The Cavaliers will force the Magic's ancillary players to beat them from beyond the arc, and they haven't shown the ability to do that on the road.
