Watch: Scottie Scheffler dunks 167-yard eagle in first hole as a father

Scottie Scheffler returned to the golf course for the first time since becoming a father earlier this month, and he wasted no time getting back in the groove. In his first hole at the  PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club, his first competitive hole since becoming a dad, the World No. 1 dunked his approach from 167 yards out for an eagle.

"Dad strength is real, folks.

Scheffler entered the year's second major championship as the clear favorite to win, and he couldn't have asked for a better start. After a perfect drive down the right side of the fairway on No. 1, the 27-year-old hit a laser-like iron shot that landed a foot in front of the hole and bounded into the hole for a miraculous eagle.

We're running out of adjectives to describe how ridiculously good this guy is. Scheffler has won four of his last five starts and missed a four-foot putt to force a playoff in the only tournament he lost. He ranks No. 1 on the PGA Tour this season in strokes gained off the tee, strokes gained on approach, greens in regulation percentage, putting average, birdie or better percentage, bogey avoidance and scoring average. And those were his stats pre-baby.

Scheffler, as a father, is two under through one, and we don't expect him to slow down at Valhalla.
